Last week (Sunday) I took my family to the RoundHouse Community Centre to see the live performances and enjoy some great Indian food.

It was awesome

Diwali means row of lighted lamps, and its worldwide festivals are a unifying celebration of light over darkness that symbolize the triumph of good over evil and knowledge over ignorance.

Vancouver Celebrates Diwali is a community-based event dedicated to bringing together people of all backgrounds, celebrating the universal light that exists in everyone.

VCD is the largest Diwali-themed event in the Lower Mainland, and continues to grow and expand each year as its popularity branches out throughout Vancouver.
